Producers of processed and frozen ethnic foods often need to scale quickly -- because of expanded distribution or the success of a product.

For production chilling, a host of frozen ethnic foods such as burritos use ground meat or poultry products in their recipes. The advanced ACCU-CHILL® chilling system can rapidly equilibrate even wet poultry mixes with an injection of liquid N2 or CO2 from the bottom of a mixer/blender. The Linde bottom-injection (BI) system is far more efficient than chilling from the top of a mixer with water ice, dry ice pellets, or CO2 snow.
Beyond solutions for freezing and chilling, Linde also provides food-grade gases for modified-atmosphere packaging (MAP) systems that can dramatically extend the shelf life of chilled meat and poultry products, prepared foods, baked goods and snack food items.
